Artificial intelligence for real urban challenges
Thinking around major themes of the smart city and animate the ecosystem of Moroccan startups are the main drivers of the Smart City Hackathon. 38 hours of intense brainstorming, 38 hours to innovate and meet the challenges of urban development in Casablanca: this is what the Smart City Hackathon proposes for its fourth edition. Organized by Casablanca Events & Animation in partnership with Hack & Pitch it will be held on April 20th and 21st at the LaFactory by ScreenDy.
After the success of the previous edition held under the theme of mobility, the Smart City Hackathon launches this year a new challenge, to encourage the development of Smart City concept in the city, through the integration of artificial intelligence, in the urban everyday life of its citizens. It will involve developing, as a team, an innovative prototype or computer program responding to three fundamental dimensions of urban development: Cleanliness in response to environmental challenges to be met today for a sustainable tomorrow, safety for a better future re-appropriation of the public space by the citizens and the fluidification of the traffic in answer to the stakes of the urban mobility.
